Thanks, Thomas … quite detailed. Enjoyed it very much. I grew up in Miami with lots of Banyan Trees, and maybe some of them were Bodhi trees.? I guess I’ll have to check for elliptical leaves or heart-shaped leaves on my next visit to south Florida! By the way, we pronounced “Banyan” as “ban-yen”, and you pronounced it as “bon-yen”. Where did you get your pronunciation? Time to go sit under a tree at ORPI (if I can find one without spikes) and meditate … 🙂
